History

Exeter Rowing Club was formed in 1946 and can trace its origins back to the early 1800s via organisations including Exeter Amateur Rowing Club (EARC), St Thomas Amateur Rowing Club and Port Royal Amateur Rowing Club. Club records extend as far back as the EARC 1864 Minute Book and we are fortunate to have a large collection of photographs and other records documenting the club's past.
Exeter Rowing Club remains the largest rowing club in the south west peninsula and maintains success at all levels of the sport from local to international competition.
