WELFARE OFFICER: Philippa Brailey

“As Club Welfare Officer, it is my job to ensure that Exeter Rowing Club is a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our junior members.  I work to ensure that the club fully implements and follows British Rowing Safeguarding & Protecting Children Policy.   I am also the person to contact  should you have any concern about child welfare.”

The Club has a duty of care to all children at the Club and to ensure we maintain this duty of care we must act in accordance with the British Rowing Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy. These policies apply to all Rowers, coaches, volunteers, employees and anyone involved in rowing, whether or not they are British Rowing members, so please take a few minutes to read the document below where you can also find the reporting procedure.
