Ten Club juniors represented the Western Region (one of twelve in England and Wales) in the Junior Inter Regional Regatta held at Nottingham on Saturday 26.04.14.
Poppy Bowyer had an early start and sculled well going on later to win the
WJ16 single sculls B final in a very determined fashion.
The two sweep crews were newly formed and had to learn how to sweep in a very short space of time, Junior 15s and 16s age groups don’t race in sweep boats in this region. Both crews did well with the boys crew winning their B final.
Girls WJ16 4+ Ellie Wakefield, Izzy Higgs, Lauren May, Millie Roberts, cox Ella Westney. Boys J15 4+ Jack Turner, Robbie Eggen, Jack Dobie (Paignton), Dan Turner, cox Emily Boother.
