The Monday 750m regatta saw Finlay Copping win the open 1x.   He won his semi final against Evesham Baker by 1.5 lengths with good strong sculling round the bend, possibly spurred on by knowledge that long term family involvement Ross Rowing Club risked barracking from the commentator if any  steering problems occurred!  He then went on to beat Upton Pountney in the final.    A good first win, to receive a tankard from a proud grandfather.

In the Women Masters E/F, Kirstie Ffrench-Constant built on success at Nottingham Masters  by sculling strongly to win against training partner Di Parish by 2 lengths – despite the handicap and the bend!   A year long goal achieved.   The training partner is known to be reviewing comeback tactics.
