Great results from our club at the Junior British Championships last weekend.
On the Friday our J14s competed in the omnium events, where Sam Wickham secured a silver medal in his single and a bronze in his double with Isaac Otter who placed 40th in his single. The girls were also successful in this event, with Hollie Creasy and Lucy Webber placing 7th and 12th respectively in singles as well as 14th in their double together.
Over the rest of the weekend, Jasmin Stanbury secured 28th place in her WJ18 1x time trial despite racing up an age group, but sadly her final was cancelled due to some horrific conditions.
After placing 3rd in their time trial, Oliver Wickham and Ed Fuller achieved a gold medal in their final of the J16 2x with a comfortable lead! As well as that, Ella O’Brien and Frankie Bonfield finished 5th in the WJ16 2x after originally coming 7th in their time trial.
