This ten-session course provides an introduction to the sport of Rowing, and it’s suitable for complete beginners to come and have a go (Age 17+). The course is based at our city centre club adjacent, to Exeter’s beautiful historic Quayside. You’ll spend most of your time out on the river getting to know the correct technique in the boats with one of our qualified coaches. However, we’ll spend time in our on-site rowing gym guiding you on the indoor rowing machine and boosting your fitness.
We put a strong emphasis on learning good technique; this helps to prevent injuries and also ensures a solid grounding in the basics of the sport. Our coaches will guide you on the next steps to take after the course to build your fitness and flourish in the sport. From recreational outings with friends to get on the water and racing competitively, there are lots of opportunities at all levels to take advantage of. Sport should be lots of fun, and of course, we’ll deliver this too. Book now below to save your space, and we’ll see you soon!
